Youth Empowerment/Social Justice Initiative - Afro/Latinx Classes

The Ungroup Society's Youth Empowerment / Social Justice Initiative - Afro/Latinx History Classes  **Register Here With Free Ticket for Ages 14-18**  With class ending field trip (TBA) This is an opportunity for students of color to be a part of a new, dynamic and highly innovative educational project serving African American / Latino students. We will facilitate an expansive educational experience for students of color with a goal at giving accurate historical information while at the same time addressing some of the systemic disparity in the current educational system Our objective is to enable students of color and to help them better understand their intrinsic power as well as to fully embrace their inherent greatness as earth's original people. We will provide them with a more accurate lens through which to view themselves.

This project will give them a greater appreciation for, as well as to amplify their understanding of our ancestors’ significant contributions to world civilization as well as to The United States of America. Ultimately, through education as well as conveying real world action plans going forward, we seek to have our young people reject and dismiss every negative notion they were ever taught about our people and to begin a search for true knowledge of self to live up to their potential, to boldly carry out all that they are capable of doing and being in this life. Classes facilitated by Dr. Kelly K Hope and Avery Gaddis MBA Fully educating our children is OUR RESPONSIBILITY and it is time we stop waiting for others to do it for us.
