There is a special connection between Yoga and Tango. In Yoga we prepare our body, mind and soul to get in touch with our inner self. Through breathing, movement and relaxation we create space in the body for energy to flow. As we lengthen, strengthen and nourish our body we prepare to dance more freely and effortlessly. In Tango as in Yoga we seek to connect and become one with the music and your partner. This class will help to guide tango dancers to better understand their body; through basic yoga sequences, breathing and relaxation dancers will be able to be more present and grounded and easily connect with a partner. Bring water, a mat and a hand towel. You won’t need Tango shoes.
