Victor Woods - Celebration of Life

"Refresh and Gladden my spirit. Purify my heart. Illumine my powers I lay all my affairs in they hand. Thou art my Guide and my Refuge. I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved. I will be a happy and joyful being. O God, I will no longer be full of anxiety, nor will I let trouble harass me, I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life. oh god, thou art more friend to me than I am to myself. I dedicate myself to Thee, O Lord." - Abdu'l-Baha Anyone who knew or was influenced by my father is welcome. If you ever had the opportunity to meet Victor Woods you are truly blessed, and all of us, mourning his loss want to celebrate the life he had and the moments we shared with him. Please join us on December 30th to celebrate the life of this Angel of ours. I'll be updating with any information and place and time as we get these things settled.

PLEASE POST ANY PHOTOS YOU HAVE OF VICTOR HERE. I will be making a slideshow and we want to see your perspective. ----- We are born into a world not having consciously chosen the people that will educate us and help us to become the person we will be for the rest of our lives. My two sisters and I have been so blessed to have been brought into this world by such an incredible spirit. To be educated by and to spend all the time we did with a man I would call an angel. A man with a heart of unimaginable proportions and a love for god that has reached so many hearts and will stretch into infinity. The most difficult thing that I've ever had to endure is losing that man. My heart is absolutely shattered. He is my Father, my teacher, my friend, a soulmate that I will continue to hold so deeply and dearly in my spirit, heart, and mind.

I love you forever my angel, my dad. Fly free -Moriah Woods

Moriah, heartfelt condolences to you and your sisters. Sorry to hear that your father has left this worldly plane but heartened to know that he has taken flight to that eternal abode which draws him nearer unto God. I am reminded that Baha'u'llah says that death is a "messenger of joy" and consoles us with these words: “Thou art My dominion and My dominion perisheth not; wherefore fearest thou thy perishing? Thou art My light and My light shall never be extinguished; why dost thou dread extinction? Thou art My glory and My glory fadeth not; thou art My robe and My robe shall never be outworn.” For those of us left behind on this physical plane it is often hard to find joy in our separation from those we love so much.

I will remember your father for the beautiful person that he was. That he is. I met your father when you were still inside your mother's womb. Our very first conversation was about him becoming a father. He was ecstatic and admitted feeling afraid of not being a good enough father. I knew him and experienced his delight with each of your sister's. No parent was more excited or more sincere than your dad in his love for his children. That's what makes a great dad. I will pray for your solace and that your sadness be replaced with the joy you shared with him. With fond memories, Carlotta
