UA-Pulaski Tech Theater Department Presents "Blithe Spirit"

UA-PTC theater instructor Sheila Glasscock directs Noel Coward’s comic play that debuted in England in 1941 and remains a favorite on Broadway and on London’s West End to the present day. The play was made into a successful film starring Rex Harrison in 1945. Blithe Spirit concerns a novelist Charles Condomine, and his wife, Ruth, who, seeking subject matter for an upcoming novel about a murderous spiritualist, invite a local clairvoyant, Madame Arcati, to their house to conduct a séance. The scheme backfires when Charles is haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, after the séance. Elvira makes repeated attempts to disrupt Charles's marriage to his second wife, who cannot see or hear the ghost. Tickets cost $7 for general admission and $5 for students.

Tickets can be purchased at the door on a first-come, first-served basis or reserved online at Doors open 30 minutes before show time, and seating is general admission. The show is family friendly and runs approximately two hours. For school group reservations, call Debra Wood at (501) 812-2715 or email
