The Art of Race

Join Elon Cook Lee, program director and curator at the Center for Reconciliation, for a special opportunity to explore racial history through The Art of Race, a program series hosted in partnership with the RISD Museum. This popular series uses objects and artifacts from the RISD Museum collection to provoke deeper reflection and dialogue around the development and perpetuation of racial ideologies and the legacy of slavery. Each month, Elon partners with one of the museum's expert curators to explore these themes within a different department of the RISD Museum and engage tour guests in thoughtful cross-disciplinary discussion.
