Spend a weekend basking in the tranquility of Camp Miniwanca, exploring the forest and enjoying beach time on the Lake Michigan Shoreline. Miniwanca offers, tent camping (bring your own tent), rustic log cabins among the pines or dorm rooms a few steps away from the beach. Enjoy hiking, tubing, crafts, stargazing, high ropes, kayaking, live animal presentation, educational workshops & presentations, campfire stories & s'mores, storytelling, live & silent auciton and much more. Rates include meals and *activities for the weekend. The retreat theme this year is The Challenge of Change. In addition to our recreational activities, we will offer workshops and presentations focusing on the our changing climate, the changes humans must make to ensure a sustainable planet and the change we all must embrace as a society to secure equity for all.  Visit our Facebook event page to see pictures of lodging options, workshop schedule updates, silent auction item previews and more.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to the event. Public transit is not available to the camp site. On site parking is available.  What should I bring with me to the event? Attendees will receive a detailed list of what to bring with their registration confirmation, but a few must have items include: towels; bed linens or sleeping bags to fit a twin bed and a pillow; water bottle, bug spray, flash light;a tent if you are opting for the bring your own tent lodging option; materials fees for bird/bat house building.  How can I contact the organizer with any questions? No refunds on or after August 17th. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?  No, your ID will be enough to verify you are the person who registered for the event.  Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend without an adult.
