Walkers, Runners, and Marathoners. Please save the date and register as Running for Triumph Cancer Foundation. This is the OFFICIAL race for Cancer Survivors and each survivor that crosses the finish line receives a yellow rose. There are events for the whole family and Fleet Feet Sacramento donates a portion of the registrations to Triumph. If you choose to raise funds as a runner, Triumph gets 100% of the funds you raise. Saturday, March 10, 2018 Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock’n 5K, 10K and Kids’ Leprechaun Dash 1/2 Mile 6:45 am – Raley Field packet pick up and race day registration opens 8:00 am – Start for the Kids’ Leprechaun Dash 1/2 mile (12 and under only) 8:15 am – Start for the 5K and 10K run/walk Sunday, March 11, 2018 Blue Diamond Almonds Shamrock’n Half Marathon Wave Start Details for the Half Marathon In an effort to ease congestion along the course, the race features wave starts.

Simply put, a wave start consists of staggered starts of groups instead of one giant start for all participants. Runners are placed in “waves” consisting of other runners of a similar pace. Each wave has its own start with a short “time cushion” between each wave. We hope the wave start creates a safer, more enjoyable experience for all participants. Wave starts will be assigned and announced no later than Thursday, March 1, 2017. Wave Start Times 7:45 am — Wave 1 8:00 am — Wave 2 8:15 am — Wave 3 Course Time Limit There is a course time limit of 4 hours from the start of Wave 3. Roads open to traffic at 12:30 pm.

Join Team Triumph and become part of the "Sea of Blue" among the green as we walk, jog, run, or race to #beatcancer.

It is easy to register and select Team Triumph as the charity you are participating with. Bring the whole family to participate, cheer you on, or volunteer with us. Each Cancer Survivor receives a yellow rose at the finish line and our wall of race placards will return this year.
