 "Resilience" Community Film Screenings 2018-2019

Advocates for Health in Action and Marbles Kids Museum invite you to a community screening of Resilience, a 60-minute film directed by James Redford on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their impact on health, quality of life, economics and education. Research shows ACEs are common, they affect all income levels, and their lifelong impact on health and well-being is significant.  “The child may not remember, but the body remembers.” View this highly acclaimed film  to learn what ACEs are, how they increase the likelihood of disease and illness, and how together we as a community can lessen the impact of ACEs for Wake County residents by building resilience.   Marbles Kids Museum is graciously hosting numerous film screenings, with  standing days/times and several additional screenings.  DETAILS - 2nd Wednesday of the month: 8:30-9:30 am January 9 March 13 April 10 May 8 June 12 July 10 - February 15, 20191:30-2:30 pm and 3:00-4:00 pm Free but one ticket/person is required; space is limited. Coffee/drinks and snacks available for purchase.
