Location: Fromm Hall across from St. Ignatius Church, San Francisco, CA 10:30 am Reception and viewing of Borysewicz exhibit "Fragments" 11:00 am Panel Discussion and Q & A Joseph Bottum Cynthia Haven James Matthew Wilson Alfonse Borysewicz Exhibit opens January 27th and runs January 27-February 28, 2019 On January 27, the Benedict XVI Institute and St. Ignatius Parish will launch an extraordinary event: "René Girard and the Catholic Artist: A Conversation" It begins at 10:30 with coffee and doughnuts and an art installation with Alfonse Borsiewicz at Fromm Hall's vestibule (across the path from St. Ignatius 650 Parker Avenue, on the University of San Francisco campus; (The paintings will be on display until February 28) Here is your chance to converse with a Brooklyn painter America magazine called a "serious artist" one of "the few artists" who have the courage to bridge the gap between Catholicism and the art world.
