The playhouse is a small indie theater (actual physical theater) located inside Pine Brothers Coffee Shop. The theater has a 12 foot by 8 foot screen, projector, sound system, as well as a stage for performances. Seating is limited to about 31 people with some sweet old-school red flip up theater chairs. Owner, George Alexander, is preparing something unique for us to enjoy in the Reverie Playhouse during our visit.Next, we will head on towards Cullman, AL to enjoy a delicious supper at the Brandin Iron Steakhouse before we embark on our 3-hour paranormal investigative tour.
We like to support locally owned and operated businesses and we love the story behind this place…. Brian Stricklin’s journey in the steakhouse industry began after marrying his wife Misty in 2004, the couple developed a business plan as part of her master’s degree thesis from Montana Tech University. The Brandin’ Iron Steakhouse later became a reality with its grand opening on May 9, 2006. It came to life as a word-of-mouth and family-owned establishment and the delicious food draws in customers from surrounding counties. The menu has a little bit of everything. After supper we are off for a paranormal experience of a lifetime. The Southern Ghost Girls Tours and Paranormal Investigations, LLC is led by investigator Lesley Ann, who loves the diverse culture of our great country, its history, and investigating the unknown or paranormal. On this tour, you will be provided Paranormal Investigation Equipment to use. We will investigate and learn the history of Crooked Creek Civil War Museum and Battlegrounds. This historic site is located where Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and Union Colonel Abel Streight‘s men fought.
