Camping check-in for Thunder Island and car camping starts at 10am on Friday, August 16th and ends at 10am on Sunday, August 18th.  PCT DAYS opens the gate to the main area at 2pm on Friday and closes at 10pm each day until the festival ends at 10am on Sunday, August 18th. Overnight camping on Thunder Island is open to the public for $20 per person, per night or $40 per person for Friday & Saturday nights.  Car Camping is a flat rate of $50.  2019 PCT Thru-hikers get a discounted rate of $5 per person, per night or $10 per person for Friday & Saturday nights. Due to the unpredictably of hiking schedules and no way to verify thru hikers online, camping fees are cash only at the gate.  Attendees under 18 can camp for free, but must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.  Camp sites are first-come, first-served, but don’t worry, there isn’t a bad camping spot…you’ll be amazed by the amazing views from Thunder Island.

A limited number of camp spaces might be still available during the dates of the event…if so, camp fees are cash only at the gate.  No glass or alcohol may be brought to PCT DAYS and parking is free.  Attendees that are registered to camp and event volunteers that are camping on Thunder Island and will be directed to park in the school lot in the field across the entrance to the Marine Park.  It’s just a short walk from the field, across the street and into the park.  Be sure to hide valuables out of plain sight.   Pacific Crest Trail Days is a 3-day summer festival that celebrates and promotes hiking, camping, backpacking & outdoor stewardship.  Attendees can participate in activities, games, & presentations, win awesome gear at the raffle, watch a series of films, and get great deals on the latest outdoor products from sponsors at the Gear Expo.
If you’re into car camping, day hiking, long distance hiking, or just curious, a wide-range of gear and info will be here.   Don’t miss out on a great time at the 13th annual PCT DAYS, located in the Marine Park of Cascade Locks, Oregon…the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. PCT DAYS is free to attend, with a suggested donation of non-perishable food, personal care products, or a monetary contribution to the FISH food bank, which serves the local community.  All raffle proceeds support the American Long Distance Hiking Association-West, the Pacific Crest Trail Association, and the volunteers working to restore trails damaged by the Eagle Creek Fire.  Overnight camping is available for a fee and the event is family-friendly. Vendors will be offering great food, beer, cider, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages.  No glass or alcohol may be brought to PCT DAYS and parking is free.  For more info, visit pctdays.com   .
