MLUX SF x Salesforce: Data Driven Personas - Bringing Data Science Techniques to UX Research

We're excited to announce our next MLUX SF meetup at Salesforce. For this event, we'll be diving deep into how Salesforce's User Research and Analytics team combines interviews, large-scale surveys, and statistical analysis to create Data Driven Personas. We're so excited for Salesforce to share their approach with us. ** Space is limited, so please register on Eventbrite to guarantee your spot. For security purposes, we will be closing RSVPs 48 hours before the event, checking IDs, and cannot honor transferred tickets ** Bringing Data Science techniques to UX Research - Data Driven Personas: Personas are a common output of UX research teams, but sometimes they have a bad reputation for being anecdotal, misleading, or even silly. The User Research and Analytics team at Salesforce combines quantitative and qualitative methods to create personas that are used and trusted by our design, product, and engineering teams.

Connie and Tuhina will share the process, statistical analysis, and key learnings behind our most recent Admin and Developer personas. Speaker: Tuhina Koppikar Tuhina Koppikar is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where she studied mathematics with an emphasis in statistical modeling. She is a research analyst on the UX Analytics team at Salesforce and focuses on driving quantitative methods and insights for the UX research team. LinedkIn: Speaker: Connie Maratea  Connie Maratea is a user researcher on the Platform UX team at Salesforce. Her work combines qualitative and quantitative approaches and she works closely with Product and Design to improve the Salesforce experience for end-users, admins, and developers. LinkedIn: Sounds cool, right?
