TechTalk Seminars are back this month. Join TechTalk Laramie as we host David Earnshaw from the Wyoming LFTR Energy Alliance for the January TechTalk Seminar. At this TechTalk Seminar, David will explain liquid fluoride thorium reactors (LFTRs) at an introductory level, and explain their advantages over the conventional solid-uranium-fuel nuclear reactors. Today, growing interest in thorium energy and the LFTR hinges on their promise as the ideal source of reliable, continuous clean energy (1) to back up clean energy from intermittent sources – solar and wind – and (2) standing alone, to supply electric power for large-scale loads. For more information on LFTRs, visit Wyoming LFTR Energy Alliance [http://www.wyominglftrenergy.org] and come to the event.
