John Brown University LEADS 2.0 Training
The Arkansas Leader Excellence & Development System is designed for documentation and performance rating of Arkansas P-12 School and District/Charter Leaders. The system has been updated based on the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders. 2015 and the Four Domains for Rapid School Improvement from the Center from School Turnaround. 2017. A collaborative training on the new LEADS 2.0 is being provided by Arkansas Educational Leadership Programs in colleges and universities; the Arkansas Department of Education; the Arkansas Educational Service Cooperatives, the Arkansas Educational Renewal Zones, and Noted Arkansas School Leaders. THE LEADS 2.0 TRAINING IS COMPLETE IN ONE (1) THREE - HOUR SESSION. SCHOOL PRINCIPALS & DISTRICT/CHARTER LEADERS MAY ATTEND ANY ONE OF THE 42 SESSIONS OFFERED ACROSS THE STATE.
It is recommended that those who will be documenting and rating the professional performance of building level administrators, as well as building level administrators, should attend. During the session, participants will become familiar with the new format and content of the LEADS 2.0 PRINCIPAL RUBRIC through this interactive time of review and learning. Trainers are Karen Norton & Connie Matchell. We look forward to seeing you there..
