Joe Craven & The Sometimers with Hattie Craven

“The award-winning regional favorite Joe Craven has made music with many folks, including violinist Stephane Grappelli, Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia, eclectic string-player David Lindley, and banjo fusionist Alison Brown. Joe was also the multi-instrumentalist for the David Grisman Quintet for 17 years. Craven will perform in two configurations: First with his daughter, stunning vocalist Hattie Craven, to celebrate their latest project, “Bright.” Then, in the second act, Joe will be joined by his group The Sometimers (Bruce MacMillan and Jonathan Stoyanoff), who will sample the release of their upcoming album “Garcia Songbook.” This award winning NorCal roots trio is a celebration of a vast diversity of styles in the Americana landscape with a “leave no genre behind” policy of music making.
