You can get your FEMA SID number here https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/ Course DescriptionThis course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). This course expands upon information covered in ICS 100 through ICS 300 courses, which are prerequisites for the ICS 400 course. Selection Criteria: The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity. Course ObjectivesExplain how major incidents engender special management challenges.Describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established.Describe the circumstances in which Multi-Agency Coordination Systems are established.

Mission AreasRespondRecover PrerequisitesThe most current versions of: IS-100 or ICS-100, Introduction to the Incident Command System, IS-200 or ICS-200, Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents; E/L/G-300, ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents; IS-700, National Incident Management System, An Introduction; and IS-800, National Response Framework, An Introduction Recommended: Experience using concepts and principles from ICS 100, ICS 200, and ICS 300 and use of skills in an operational environment DisciplinesEmergency ManagementPrimary Core CapabilityOperational Coordination Please bring copies of your prequisites to class for instructor to forward to WOHS for your file.  A certificate will not be issued with out proof of prerequisites and your FEMA SID.   Recommended Prerequisites:  Experience using concepts and principles from ICS-100/IS-100, IS-200/ICS 200, IS-700 and IS-800 in a response or exercise.
