Hunt's Photo Walk: Boott Cotton Mills
The industrial revolution changed our country, and the world, forever. The use of water, steam, and electric power evolved textile production into a mega industry. The mills of Lowell, Massachusetts were a key player in the evolution of work production as they mass-produced textiles for the country and the world. Boott Cotton Mills in Lowell represents several period mills that offer a glimpse into textile production almost 200 years ago. We will explore the interior and exterior of these mills for images that tell the significant historic story they offer. Join us for a creative day of looking into the past. In this workshop, we will discuss Subject Development, Image Composition, Macro Photography, HDR, Black and White Photography, and Architectural Photography. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome.
