HACK DAY: Revive the Diverse History of the Bay Area

How much do you know about the Bay Area? Did you know that the sacred Shellmounds indegenous people built here ~5,700 years are older than Jerusalem and the Egyptian Pyramids? Join us for a special Hack Day Saturday March 31st, 10am-3pm, to co-create new messaging and build a website for something that could make history. Chochenyo Ohlone leader Corrina Gould has a vision for a memorial open space park on the West Berkeley Shellmound site to reclaim our land from the rampage and careless development that caused many homeless issues in the Bay Area. She will be collaborating with the "hackers. " We are specifically looking for: 1) Graphic Designers 2) Website Builders 3) Storytellers/Writers More information at https://revivethebayarea.splashthat.com/ It might sound crazy that we will can be productive in any way in 5 hours, but we've done this before.

Come see the magic. In case it is not obvious, it will be helpful if you bring your laptop to this event. There will be food.

Hi friends -- You know I like to get myself into something cool on the ground. Wanted to make sure you know about this cool opportunity that could literally help make history with a fearless local indigenous leader. Come play with me.
If anyone is looking for more information on what exactly we are pushing to build with this indigenous leader here, this is the local cause you will be contributing:
Here is a video showing how we did it last time for the Freedom Farmers Market:
