Friends of the Romulus Public Library Monthly Meeting

Who are the Friends? The Friends of the Romulus Public Library was created in the late 1970's. The group is made up of people living in and around Romulus and Huron Township who believe excellent library services are important to everyone. What do the Friends do? The Friends of RPL serve as advocates for the library within the communities. They are helping to shape the future of learning and living in our commuinity by supporting excellent library services. Money raised by the Friends through annual membership dues (suggested $10/year), used book sales, and other fundraising activies suppolement the library's day-to-day activities by providing funding for library programs, library improvments, and library services for all ages throughout the year. How do I join? It's easy.

Just complete a Membership Application (available at the RPL) and drop it off at the circulation desk or drop it in the mail. An annual $10 membership is suggested. BOARD MEETINGS The Friends of the Library meet at the Library on the second Monday of the month at 5:45pm. You do not need to attend any meeting to be a Friend, but are welcome to all meetings.
