Town to test evacuation siren in North Grafton The Grafton & Upton Railroad Propane Facility at 42 Westboro Road will become operational soon. To prepare should an emergency occur at the facility, the Town of Grafton is asking residents to sign up for the Code Red Emergency Notification System at grafton-ma.gov or 866-939-0911. As part of the town’s emergency operations plan, Grafton Fire Station #2 in North Grafton will siren to notify residents to evacuate the area. The siren tone will be different from that used for fire calls. The town will test the evacuation siren on Saturday, Jan. 20 at noon. During the test, you will hear a loud, steady wail for about 2-3 minutes. If you hear this specific siren in the future, evacuate the area heading away from the facility.
