It’s also the name of our brand new CD that will be available during our December 2017 Celtic Christmas Tour, which starts Friday Dec. 15 in Tuscaloosa. We hope to see you. Ed Miller has been hailed as "one of the finest singers to come out of the Scottish Folksong Revival" and as "one of Scotland's best singing exports." Originally from Edinburgh, he has for many years been based in Austin, TX where he gained graduate degrees in Folklore and Geography at the University of Texas. Ed travels throughout North America entertaining and educating audiences at concerts, clubs, house concerts, festivals, Highland Games and Burns Suppers, as well as lectures and workshops and has recorded 9 CD's of Scottish songs.

Reviews of Miller’s performances often use words such as “flawless,” “compelling,” or “refreshing,” while his voice has been described as being “as smooth and satisfying as a really good single malt whisky.” See www.songsofscotland.com. Alabama native Jil Chambless has played an active role in the Celtic music scene since the late 1980s. As singer and flute and whistle player, Jil has completed many recording projects, including her solo CD, The Ladies Go Dancing (2009), and multiple CDs with guitarist Scooter Muse and fiddler John Taylor, as well as 6 CDs with the band Henri’s Notions. She has performed at Celtic festivals and concerts across the US as well as in Canada, Scotland, and Israel. Jil brings to any audience a wonderful listening experience from haunting ballads and upbeat songs to toe-tapping tunes with a smooth delivery that never fails to bring both smiles and tears in every performance.

He was a founding member and guitarist of the band Full Moon Ensemble, which played for eight years at Celtic Festivals all over the US and in Scotland, and later joined Henri’s Notions. In addition to several recordings with Full Moon and Henri’s Notions, Scooter has released his first solo CD “Saddell Abbey” featuring 12 original compositions for acoustic guitar.
