This 3-hour forum will focus on quality improvement in primary care and the opportunity to provide input on the direction of our behavioral health program. URI and pharyngitis are common conditions for pediatric patients and one of the top 10 avoidable emergency department visits. Join Karen Smith, MD and Eric Whitney, MD for a one hour presentation as they discuss the opportunities to provide the right care in the right place and to standardize a protocol for treatment of URI and pharyngitis across the care continuum and to improve emergency department utilization rates. Designated for Category 1 credits towards AMA PRA. Wright State University (WSU) is accredited by the Accrediatation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
