UNSCRIPTED:  An Intimate Conversation with John Waters Part of the Unscripted Series: A Series of Fun, Frank, Thought-Provoking Conversations Moderated by Celebrated Journalists Filmmaker, actor and writer John Waters will join Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune's film critic, in conversation to discuss his upcoming book, Mr. Know-It-All.  No one knows more about everything—especially everything rude, clever, and offensively compelling—than John Waters. The man in the pencil-thin mustache, auteur of the transgressive movie classics Pink Flamingos, Polyester, the original Hairspray, Cry-Baby, and A Dirty Shame, is one of the world’s great sophisticates, and in Mr. Know-It-All he serves it up raw. Through it all, Waters swears by one undeniable truth: “Whatever you might have heard, there is absolutely no downside to being famous.

None at all.” Following their conversation, John will stay to sign copies of his book and take photos with fans. 6:15 pm Doors Open 7:00 pm Conversation and Q&A begins 8:30 pm Book Signing Begins *Ticket options include one ticket with one copy of Mr. Know-It-All, or two tickets with one copy of Mr. Know-It-All.
