Bicycle Skills 1-2-3

Join Dash and the RI Bicycle Coalition on Thursday, May 2nd for the final workshop in our spring series, focused on getting you outside more this spring. Bicycle Skills 1-2-3 is a free 90-minute clinic designed to help you brush up on basic handling skills. In this on-bike workshop we will cover skills like starting and stopping, signaling, shifting, hazard avoidance and more. We will cap off the evening with a short group ride around the neighborhood, ending back at Dash to refuel with pizza and drinks. A bike is required for this class *HOWEVER* please reach out in advance to arrange a loaner for the evening if you would like to attend and do not have a functioning bike of your own. Group rides from the shop will be picking up in May, including no-drop road rides and trail rides, and we’ll be talking more about those plans on May 2nd.

These workshops are free and open to everyone in the community, of all ages and ability levels. Presentations will be led by cycling advocate Donny Green, a retired pro cyclist, and current coach of local cyclocross team 1 PVD Cycling. Join us in the community space, bring all your questions, and a friend, and we'll supply the pizza. Feel free to explore our expanding list of curated rides, including commutes, casual rides, and routes for more experienced cyclists on our RideWithGPS page..
