Berry Creek Falls Trail - 9.5 miles, 2244 feet

Berry Creek Falls Trail 9AM-2PM, Saturday, December 9th Big Basin Redwoods State Park 21600 Big Basin Way, Boulder Creek, CA 95006 Berry Creek Falls Trail is a 9.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Boulder Creek, California that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. Bring plenty of water and wear appropriate shoes or hiking boots. The forecast isn't calling for rain, but be prepared for cooler temperatures once we drop down into the valley. Also, bring something to eat on the trail (you know there's a reason they call it TRAIL mix)... Please carpool as I expect parking to be extremely limited. Feel free to post here to coordinate carpools. I'd suggest meeting at the carpool lot on Hwy 35 before heading down Hwy 9 about 8am.

It's about 35 minutes from there to Big Basin Redwoods State Park Visitors Center. Please RSVP on Facebook... BTW: This hike is teen-friendly but NO dogs allowed. Sorry. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. The climb along Berry Falls can be quite steep. More info about the park and some nice reviews... Parking is $10. Cell service at the trailhead parking lot is not reliable. There are bathrooms at the park entrance. We will gather near the visitors center. We will depart from the trailhead promptly at 9:15AM.

I would love to go if I could get a ride with someone from SF.

Happy to help with gas and park fee.
If i wasnt working ,I'd definitely go. Will have to try it after the holidays
