The Must Attend Event of 2019...our Class of 1979 40th High School Reunion. This will be a fun weekend. Please share with your classmates that you are coming and encourage them to attend. We will track our total class giving and report the total at the end of reunion. OG SNOCLAF.   Who's invited? Anyone who set out to graduate from Franklin in 1979, graduated in 1979 or decided to finish a year earlier than 1979, their spouse or significant other. Children under age 10 are free.   Do I need to print out and bring a ticket to get in? Yes, please do.   Will we be selling tickets at the door? No. Tickets must be purchased in advance by June 14. This will insure we have sufficient food and drinks available.   What is the refund policy? No refunds issued after June 14, 2019.   Are the venues handicap accessible? The parties at Matt Emerson’s and Daniel Brockhoeft’s homes are not handicap accessible.
If you require assistance, please contact Jenny Juge Kottler in advance to discuss what accommodations, if any, can be arranged as we do want you to attend. Jenny’s contact information is email:; cell: (504) 296-4608. Is there a recommended hotel? There are so many great hotels in New Orleans at a range of prices. Our reunion size doesn't allow for us to arrange hotel blocks. So, use your favorite lodging to find a place that fits your budget and location preference.  Unofficial, but helpful accommodations insight from our resident hospitality expert, Daniel Brockhoeft: The reunion dates overlap with the CLEAN (Laundry and Dry Cleaner peeps) SHOW's 13,000 attendees who will fill the hotels near the Convention Center and CBD. Daniel recommends Class of 79'ers for whom the room rate is important consider hotels not in the 4-star tier.
There are many 3-star properties (the Place D’Arms, The Provincial, the Le Richelieu, The Chateau) all on Chartres Street, past the Cathedral towards Esplanade Ave. There's also a new hotel in the Marigny, Hotel Peter and Paul, a converted the Church and Convent. So in short,  "TRIVAGO" and look for the deals over our Reunion Weekend, June 22 and 23.   QUESTIONS Any questions about the reunion, contact Jenny Juge Kottler. Email:; Cell: (504) 296-4608 .
