ASLA 2019 Summer Conference: Collaboration • Advocacy • Leadership • Better Together

Join the Alabama School Library Association as they host the 2019 Summer Conference on June 11, 2019, at Foley Elementary School. This conference is dedicated to providing quality, targeted professional development for Alabama's K-12 school library media specialists. The keynote speaker is AASL President, Kathryn Lewis. Join us as we become "Better Together" through collaboration, advocacy, and leadership as library media specialists.  This year there will be new session formats to include EdTech in the Library and STEM/Makerspace playground and speed learning sessions. In addition, there will be a Book Talk Campfire session where we will invite authors and others to book talk titles that will quickly become new favorites in the library. We will have authors, vendors, breakout sessions featuring topics on collaboration, advocacy, leadership, and many more timely topics relating to school librarianship.  For more information, please visit for details on submitting presenter applications, vendor information, author information, as well as a tentative schedule.    FAQs How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
