Anger Management: learn coping skills, court ordered, work/school issues

The Anger Management Program is an evidenced based program designed to help individuals with identifying and preventing violence in relationships and families. This program is designed for individuals to take responsibility and accountability for their thinking, feeling, and behaviors and to learn effective coping skills which halt escalation and resolve conflicts. The Anger Managment class is offered individually and in an open group setting. The total number of classes are 10; however, classes may continue if an anger assessment shows that more classes are needed. Candidates for Anger Management Course: Court Ordered Clients Needing Anger Management Classes,Have frequent conflicts with friends and/or family members, Exhibit oppositional behavior at school and/or work, Have difficulty with authority figures (i.e., teachers, coaches, employers, etc.), Are easily provoked; Often feel angry, tend to “bottle up” their feelings, Have difficulty staying calm when agitated, Tend to act before thinking, Have frequent anger outbursts, and Have difficulty expressing their feelings appropriately. Each participant receives a certificate of completion after sessions have been completed. Classes are 60 minutes 1x weekly.
Group classes are Thursdays 6:30-7:30. Individual sessions can be scheduled by making an appointment. There is no fee to sign up through Eventbrite; however, classes are $20.00 per class if done in a group setting and $25.00 per person if done individually or as a couple. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? SHERMAN SUPPORT AND SOLUTIONS, LLC IS ON THE MARTA BUS LINE. THERE IS PARKING SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WILL DRIVE TO THE MEETINGS. What can I bring into the event? IF YOU HAVE COURT ORDERED PAPERS, PLEASE BRING THEM WITH YOU TO THE FIRST MEETING. PLEASE TRY TO HAVE SNACKS BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS. Are children allowed at the event? WE LOVE CHILDREN , BUT THERE ISN'T A NURSERY AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THEREFORE, WE ASK THAT PARENTS NOT BRING THE CHILDREN TO CLASS. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BRING TICKETS. THE TICKETS JUST SHOWS THAT YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THE CLASS IN THE EVENT THAT COURT OFFICIALS ASKS FOR INFORMATION TO SHOW THAT PARTICIPANTS HAVE SIGNED UP. Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? THE TICKETS ARE NOT TRANSFERRABLE Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? NO, THE TICKETS SHOWS PROOF THAT PARTICIPANTS SIGNED UP FOR THE CLASS. THE TICKETS MUST BELONG TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNS UP FOR THE CLASS. .
