8th Annual Brothers Who Can Cook
Brothers Who Can Cook returns to Baltimore for its 8th year on May 11, 2019 to the Eubie Blake Cultural Center. Our signature, not-to-be-missed event, will feature local and nationally renowned Boys and Men of Color (BMOC) and promises to not disappoint those who look forward to a PROFESSIONAL CHEFFING EVENT returning to BALTIMORE'S UPCOMING AFRICAN ARTS DISTRICT. For the event, we are expanding our reach into a full day of activity, combining everything you love about food. Guests will be able to enjoy samplings from dozens of chefs in every food and dessert/pastry category. ( Larger plated offerings will be offered to purchase, tapas style. ) TIMELINE: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm There will be several FREE workshops, hosted by , chefs and professionals in the food industry(Brothers Who Can Cook), EDUCATING guests on Farm to Table, Food Presentation, Vegan 101, Cooking for Singles, Wine/Spirits Pairing, Creating A Classic Dinner Party, Cooking Classes for Children, The World of a Professional Chef, The Food Apartheid Epidemic, The Family Table, and much more...
GENERAL ADMISSION: (Ticket Includes: Standing/Walk Around/Consumer Tables): Swag bag, Live Entertainment, Samples from Chefs and Chef Vendors, Mother's Day Gift Vendors, Access to Workshops (Registration Required) and a Chef Auction. Guests 21+ Receive 2 Taster drink tickets and there will also be the ability to purchase wine and spirits for Home Consumption ONLY by local African American owned Crafters and Companies. VIP TICKETS: LIMITED RESERVED SEATING...Includes four (4) taster drink tickets, samples from chefs, swag bag and everything included in general admission 8:00pm -11:00pm Pop-Up Event Chef Fundraiser: The event will start with a Signature Cocktail Lounge Mixer and networking hour. From there, you will enjoy a specially curated mult-course dinner , prepared by one of our four(4) Signature Chefs in the catergories of Vegan, Caribbean, Seafood or African. Each chef will offer a multi-course meak, with wine/cocktail pairing and live entertainment.Want to know what it is to feel like ROYALTY...The event has its own waitstaff, so YOU never have to leave your seat. "The Experience" goes on SALE March 15, 2019. ONLY 150 tickets are available. Start with the opportunity to select your CHEF, as each will ONLY OWN 35 to 50 seats per SETTING. This 'EXPERIENCE' will SELL OUT. SO, SAVE THE DATE. MARCH 15th...Tickets GO ON SALE and start at $100.00+ and are tax deductible. FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? To participate in the drink taster, guests must be 21+ with a valid ID. You will receive a band. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There will be parking for the day event, but much o the parking is on the street. There will be some available parking in the hospital lot across the street. Please consider taking the light rail to the DAY event. FOR THE SIGNATURE POP-UP CHEF EXPERIENCE: Valet and Free Parking WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE Are there Brothers who will be offering VEGAN options?
