Receive the tools needed to establish the groundwork for a sustainable home practice. This program introduces you to several major meditation techniques from the yogic and Buddhist traditions, including: ~ Meditation on the breath ~ Loving-kindness meditation ~ Walking meditation ~ Mantra Meditation Participants will be introduced to those above meditation practice and the principles on which it is based. There will be periods of silent sitting and walking meditation as well as discussion, providing a foundation for applying mindfulness practice to everyday life. No experience necessary.
