2020 Instructor Prep Class @ Apollo Career Center
Welcome to the registration portal for the 2020 Motorcycle Ohio Instructor Prep Course at Apollo Career Center. Your instructor prep class will consist of the following dates and times. You must attend 100% of the dates listed and pass your exams to be certified to teach the MORE BRS in Ohio. June 3rd 6th and 7thJune 13th and 14th – no class scheduledJune 27th and 28th – no class scheduledJuly 7th 11th and 12th – candidates would be teaching class with instructors of recordJuly 23rd 25th and 26th - candidates would be teaching class with instructors of record You will not be paid to attend the IPC. Here are some of the minimum candidate qualifications: Good communication skills Good motorcycle riding skills A desire to help other riders learn safe riding skills Interest in working with a diverse population Patience Good organizational skills Here’s a list of minimum candidate requirements: Hold a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement Have a high school diploma or equivalent Have a good driving record Be mentally and physically able to teach the motorcycle safety curriculum Pass a 60-hour instructor qualification course Be First Aid and CPR certified To be considered for any Motorcycle Ohio Instructor Prep Course you will need to submit the following- Agree to the Ohio Revised Code.
Click here for details. Have a valid motorcycle endorsement for at least 3 years. Provide a BCI Background check only upon request, prior to attending day one of the course. A current CPR and First Aid certification prior to graduating. $100 non-refundable payment via credit card or electronic check after your BCI and driving record have been reviewed and approved.
