2019 Vacation Bible School 'VBS' @ Morristown Christian Church
Give your child a fun, faith-based experience this summer. Monday through Friday, June 17 through June 21, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at Morristown Christian Church. Our theme is "Giddy Up Junction," and participating kids will be Taking Jesus to New Frontiers using lessons, crafts, recognitions, music, western food, and fun activities. Friday June 21st will be a Closing Program with music, participation awards, and a down home Giddy Up Junction Celebration. VBS will perform a Special on Sunday June 23 at 10AM services for the entire congregation. Plan ahead....During VBS, teams will earn "Junction Points": Bring a Friend to VBS - Memorize Short Bible Verses - Bring a Joyful Offering - Perfect Attendance - Set a Good Example - Be a Friend - And Many More. Is there a dress code for this event? - A. Please have your children 'come as they are.' -Q. Is there a cost or donation expectation? -A. This event is FREE and open to the children of our Community. -Q. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? -A. There are no identification requirements. MCC's Vacation Bible School is appropriate for elementary school children, those entering Preschool through Fifth Grade. -Q. Is the Church easy to get to? -A. Yes, it is situated right on 209 S. Washington Street in downtown Morristown, IN. -Q. What are my parking options during Vacation Bible School? -A. There should be plenty of FREE parking available right outside the Church. Spaces are available for the handicapped. -Q. Where on the Church campus will this event be held? -A. VBS will happen inside the Church, in the adjacent Fellowship Center, and on the lovely Church grounds. The entrance will be clearly marked. -Q. Will there be refreshments available for the kids? ?-A. Yes, one of the stations in our VBS rotation this year is called 'Cowboy Treats.' -Q. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? -A. The Church Office can be reached at 765.763.6155 during traditional business hours EST. -Q. Do I have to bring my Child's printed Registration to MCC for VBS? -A. You are encouraged to bring your printed Registration from EventBrite to the VBS. But don't worry. If you forget to bring it, your Child will still be welcomed with open arms. Your registration does enable us to plan appropriately to accommodate the population in the Junction. -Q. Can I update my registration information? -A. Absolutely. .
