Children wishing to run competively must pay the full 5K fee.  $5 5K Child unchipped registration (no timing, prizes or t-shirt) when running with family or pushed in sports stroller. $5 Pals With Paws dog registration required for dogs joining runners in the 5K. Runners with dogs, strollers or wagons must stay behind competitive runners.  For the Runner's Packet with complete rules and information PLEASE CLICK HERE Walk Registration Facts:   Walk registration is $20 per person and includes an event t-shirt. Additional donations can be made to build the team overall total. Open Door Registration at $5 per person is available for children and people in financial hardship, such as those in group homes, on disability, or students on financial aid. The Open Door Registration does not include a t-shirt.  T-Shirt Facts:  $25 5K Registration includes one t-shirt $20 Minimum Walk Registration includes a t-Shirt $20 Minimum Donation by persons who may not be able to attend the event qualify for a t-shirt. Donors must make their own arrangements for pick up, or arrangments through a team captain if applicable for delivery.
Donors only must complete a registration form and indicate size requested.  We will make every effort to fullfil size requests but t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed.  Registrations and donation pledges must be inclusive of payments and received by March 22, 2019 to reserve a shirt.  T-shirts will also be available the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis for people donating $20 or more until the supply is exhausted. Every effort is made to deliver ordered sizes, but sizes are not guaranteed.  Do I have to complete a registration for my child? Yes.  Due to liability issues we must have a completed registration form for each participant regardless of age.  Children who do not desire a t-shirt may complete a $5 Open Door Registration.Can I walk my child in a stroller or wagon? Yes, children may accompany their parents in strollers or wagons, but we request that no bicycles, skateboards, scooters or the like are used during the walk. Can I bring my dog?  Yes.
 Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please bring your dog. They must be leashed at all times. Owners or persons responsible for the dog are also responsible for up to date vacinations. Dogs should be good natured around people and other dogs. All dogs must be registered under the Pals with Paws Registration which includes a signed waiver/and release taking full risk of of liability. Pup Parade participation is optional.   What if I want to donate, but cannot make it to the event? Donations are welcome through the registration page or via check or PayPal (Please see below). If you want your donation to go towards a particular team total be sure to register through that team page. Donations received through 11:59 pm April 20, 2019 will be included in the final Team Total.
If donating by check please pay and send to: NAMI Davidson Walk, 1101 Kermit Dr., Ste 506, Nashville, TN 37217. Please note a team name in the check memo or in the PayPal comments section for team credit. How can I pay? You can pay on the online event site (Eventbrite) by major credit or debit card. You do not have to have a PayPal account, but PayPal payments are accepted. Payment by check is possible, use the "Pay by Check" Option. Please make checks out to NAMI Davidson Co. Checks can be given to the Team Captain or can be mailed directly to NAMI Davidson at 1101 Kermit Drive, Suite 506, Nashville, Tennesse 37217. Cash payments can be accepted by Team Captains, at their discretion, with a written receipt with a copy of the receipt going to NAMI Davidson. Does a donation automatically make me a NAMI Davidson member? No, that is a separate function.
Memberships are $40 for Individuals, $60 for households or $5 for Open Door Memberships. Membership can be accessed through https://namidavidson.org/donate or by contacting the office at 615-891-4724. You can request to be put on the NAMI Davidson e-list to receive news of support groups, classes, events and legislation.  Can I get a receipt for my donation? All cash donations are given a receipt. Donations of $250 or more will automatically receive a letter of acknowledgment per IRS regulations. Online Registration generates an automatic receipt. Canceled checks serve as check receipts and cash donations are acknowledged with a hand written receipt. Is my donation tax deductible? Yes with the deduction of $5.00 towards the value of each t-shirt. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Anyone under 16 must have a responsible adult present on their behalf. Parents or guardians sign off on waivers for minors through the registration. Please bring picture ID to registration. Can I, my family, or my group volunteer at the event? We have sixty volunteer slots at the event. Thirty of those are filled consistently each year by returning volunteers. We welcome your inquiry or that of your group. Please see contact information below.  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is available at the event within Shelby Park, but may require a walk to reach the event venue.
