Capri’s must extend below the knee. Pants, skirts, skorts or Capri's cannot have any outside pockets, such as cargo.
c. For all bowlers: Hats are not permitted. If there is a medical reason as to why a hat must be worn, please contact the Tournament Director prior to the tournament.
This tournament will be conducted on an average basis of two (2) divisions, REGARDLESS OF AGE. Individual average breakdowns are as follows: 1: Sport Average of 163 and under or Non Sport Average of 189 and under, 2 - Scratch: Sport Average of 164 and over or Non Sport Average of 190 and over. Bowlers may opt to move up in the next division anytime they would like to. This decision needs to be provided to the Tournament director prior to the 1st ball being thrown. Once the 1st ball has been thrown, division declaration is locked and bowlers may not change.
If there is an obvious error in declaration, the Tournament Director may/will update the divisions appropriately. Tournament Director reserves the right to modify the Average Divisions based upon number of entries received. We will ALWAYS have a scratch division if we have 5 bowlers interested.
Jr Gold Qualifier Format - the four (4) games of qualifiying will be used to determine the Jr Gold results.
Double Elimination Tournament Format for all divisions:
a. Round 1 – Bowl 4 games across 8 lanes INCLUDING Handicap. Top 16 bowlers in each division will move on to the bracket round. Bowlers will be placed in brackets by division and position from qualifying. Pins DO NOT carry over. bBracket Rounds: Consist of one-game matches - total pins with handicap shall determine the winner.
cDouble-elimination format will be used. A player is eliminated after two losses. dAll participants start in the Winners’ Bracket. After losing one match they enter the Contender’s Bracket. eFinals will consist of a two-game match - Total pins with handicap shall determine the champion.
SWFC Divisions: Based upon Sport Averages
Division 1 --> 163 average and Under [Handicap]
Division 2 --> 164 Average and up or anyone interested --> [Scratch]
Jr Gold Divisions: Separate Division for Boys and Girls if entries available
U12 - Birthdate of 8/1/2005 or Later
U15 - Birthdate between 8/1/2002 and 7/31/2005
U20 - Birthdate between 8/1/1997 and 7/31/2002
Current USBC rules will prevail if not spelled out in SWFC rules.. Entry into the South-West Florida Classic Youth Tournament is open to USBC Youth Division and Adult Division sanctioned members in good standing.
SWFC is open to all USBC Youth and Adult bowlers - 21 years of age and younger as of January 1, 2017. Scholarship awards only. No PBA card holders, National or Regional Tours, will be allowed to participate.

Pre-registration is recommended however we do accept walk-ins.
Dress Code for tournaments held in January - November: Shorts, Jeans, Denim or Yoga pants will NOT be permitted at any time.
a. Acceptable attire for boys is: A collared/mock collared shirt or USBC Youth shirt (sleeveless shirts are not permitted) and pants. Pants cannot have any outside pockets, such as cargo pants.
b. Acceptable attire for girls is: A collared/mock collared shirt or USBC Youth shirt (sleeveless shirts are not permitted), pants, skorts, skirts, or Capri pants. Skirts or skorts must be plain without any adornment, such as lace, sequins, etc. Skirts or skorts must be at least fingertip length when standing with arms down at sides.
