Global USA: Homecoming Tailgate Party
|Addresse||1621 Virginia St|
Come join the Global USA pre-party before the Jags' Homecoming football game: South Alabama vs Louisiana - Monroe. All international students, alumni, and friends are welcome. The footbal game starts at 4pm so we'll start cleaning up around 3:30. FREE food, drinks and games. AND, there will also be a FREE RAFFLE drawing. We have t-shirts, gift certificates to Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe, Kurabi's Bubble Tea, Food Pak International and more. Never been to a football game? The homecoming game is an excellent one to go to and students get free tickets to go. Just bring your student ID to the ticket booth at the stadium to get yours. Have a car? Make sure you have a parking pass. SGA gives them out for FREE, however there are only 300. You can pick one up at 4pm on October 17th, in room 212 of the Student Center.
They're limited so students typically line up around 12:30 or 1pm to get a ticket. Need a ride? The Jag Tran takes students TO and FROM the football stadium for FREE. It will start running around 2pm and will pick you up in front of the Dining Hall. Jag Trans will run every 10-15 minutes. The Jag Trans will start taking students back during the 3rd Quarter of the football game. Go back to the place where you were dropped off at the stadium to get a ride back to campus. Buses will keep bringing students back to campus at least 15-30 minutes after the game is over. Have any questions? Send us a message on Facebook or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please make sure you read the following if you plan on going into the football stadium to watch the game: In an effort to improve fan safety and efficiency of entry into Ladd-Peebles Stadium, South Alabama Athletics is implementing a clear bag policy for all football games at Ladd-Peebles Stadium beginning in 2017.
Limiting the size and style of bags carried into the venue will aid in maintaining a safe and secure environment. This policy will limit the size and types of bags that are permitted inside the stadium, but is not a restriction on many of the items that fans have brought into the stadium in the past. Fans attending USA games at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in 2017 will no longer be allowed to bring up to two bottles of water per person into the stadium as has been the case in recent seasons. Empty clear plastic bottles will be allowed to enter the stadium that may then be filled at the drinking fountains on the concourse areas.
We have five $10 gift vouchers to Kurabi Bubbleon Airport for our FREE drawing at the Global USA Tailgate. They're located next to Bangkok Thai.
Great atmosphere and delicious array of drinks to choose from. #WeAreSouth #GlobalUSA #GlobalOutreachISP #kurabibubbletea
The tent is located in the student section. Right by the Ticket Booth. We’re still in the process of setting things up. If you have chairs please bring them. We only have a few.
